Internet as Knowledge

Since its earliest origins, the internet has been a force for massively increasing humanity’s ability to share knowledge and learning. Of course, the internet now is far more than that, a worldwide infrastructure for commerce and communication; however, along the way it has also evolved distinctive new forms of knowledge sharing and learning through search, vlogging, collective intelligence, gamified space practice and machine learning. The internet in the 21st century is not just an infrastructure for knowledge – one might even say that it actually IS knowledge.
